ABOUT PETER RAY
Pete’s career as a singer/songwriter of Americana stretches back to the 1960s. He opened for acts such as Janis Joplin, Moody Blues, Jim Croce, Cameron Crowe, Hoyt Axton, Loggins and Messina, Seals and Crofts, Cheech and Chong, Rodney Dangerfield and a couple Blues bands, Albert Collins, Joseph Cotton, Steve Miller band and many more. He was an artist with MGM Records and Barnaby Records, which was owned by singer Andy Williams. Pete has toured around the world and is deemed "The Fastest Thumb in the West" on guitar (Pete plays with a thumb pick.) Peter Ray also wrote the majority of songs and sang for San Diego's Homegrown albums, the single largest local album sold.
